I hope this edition of our newsletter finds you well and enjoying the start of summer. This month we will provide you a review of the Drive To Remember Fundraiser Event, as well as update you on grant information and shipping changes.
In this edition we will be offering two specials, one on the Safariland RLS and another for those who serve in Law Enforcement, EMS or the Military. Also we have included several additional sections with information we hope you will find helpful. As always, we urge everyone to stay alert while you are on and off duty, and to stay vigilant in seeking out as much training as possible.

Drive To Remember Review

We would like to thank all of our customers and friends who attended our Drive To Remember Fundraiser for their generous donations and making the event a huge success!
 
One of the highlights of the event was the arrival of "Guardian One" the Drive To Remember Hummer H3, driven by Ret. Vancouver Sgt. Steve Gibson and Craig Prystay. Emotions ran high as attendees gathered around the H3 to view the hood that displays the 141 names of the Canadian and United States officers that were killed in the line of duty in 2008. Signatures and messages have been added to the hood of the H3 during it's 5,000 mile cross country journey that concluded on May 13th in Washingtion, DC.
 
Retired Sgt. and Co-Founder of Drive To Remember, Steve Gibson then presented Teresa and Gary Meares with an honorary Drive To Remember Police Badge for their participation in the TASER Foundation Drive To Remember.
 
Raffle tickets were sold throughout the day with 100% of the donations from ticket sales going directly to the TASER Foundation to benefit the families of fallen officers. DGG Taser & Tactical Supply also donated a portion of the sales from the event. Sgt. Lance "Lando" Blachette from the Daytona Beach Police Dept. won the raffle grand prize, a DPMS AR-15 Rifle.
