    I would like to start by saying Thank You to all of our customers and friends.  We have recently been making the final preparations for our 'Tactical Cookout', and it has reminded us how fortunate we are to be here, serving your tactical needs.  We can't help but be excited for the big event and the opportunity to show our appreciation for your business.  In this newsletter, you'll find additional information on this upcoming event.  We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

DGG 4th Anniversary Customer
Appreciation "Tactical Cookout"
Saturday June 12th
10am-5pm

It has been an honor to serve our customer's tactical needs for the last 4 years.  To show our appreciation, we invite you to our "Tactical Cookout" this June!

A great day filled with:

• Food - we will crank up the grills and have hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks, etc.  Just like your everyday backyard cookout! 

• Fun - we'll have booths where you can go "hands on" and try a RAM Airsoft Gun and shoot a round or two of paintballs at a target.  Child safety information booths too!

• Book Signing - join new local author Teresa Meares (CEO of DGG) from 1:00pm-2:00pm.  She will be available to sign her new series of books written to help teach children safety through reading.

• Specials - we'll have store wide deals and specials all day long!

• Giveaways - we will hold a raffle* to giveaway prizes throughout the day!  Raffle tickets only $1 each.  Grand prize drawing around 4pm for a DPMS Panther 5.56Nato Sportical Rifle (pictured below, optic NOT included).  A grand prize worth $715.00 !!

Grab a friend, neighbor or family member and head on over to our store as we celebrate our 4th anniversary!  Open to the public.

*All proceeds raised from a raffle on the day of the event will be donated to The Champions for a Cure Gala, celebrating and supporting MDA Research that will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Photos from the 2010 Mock Prison Riots

 

Congratulations to the Lee County Sheriff's Office Team for placing 4th this year in the 2010 Mock Prison Riots.  DGG was proud to sponsor the Lee County Team that competed with 17 other teams.  Four of the Lee County Team members then went on to compete in the Super SWAT event, which is an individual event that includes running, shooting, target selection, and completion of an obstacle course for time.



Selection for the Super SWAT event is limited to 40 people, but due to the grueling nature of the event only 27 out of the approximately 250 competing officers entered.  Out of that only 22 were able to complete the course.  Congrats again to our Lee County Team members, who placed 6th, 9th, 12th and 16th in this event.

Carsten, our North Georgia Territory Manager, attended the Grand Opening of the new Lawrenceville Police Department Headquarters.  Congratulations to the Lawrenceville PD on your new HQ from all of us here at DGG!
